Role Summary:
The Electrician ensures safe and reliable power distribution throughout the building by performing installations, upgrades, inspections, and repairs across all electrical components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose faults in sockets, switches, panels, DBs, and breakers.
- Install new circuits, isolators, LED lighting, and emergency lights.
- Perform megger testing, continuity testing, and insulation resistance checks.
- Fix wiring defects, loose connections, and overload issues.
- Replace contactors, timers, sensors, and light control devices.
- Maintain generator or UPS systems (basic tasks).
- Support shutdowns and major electrical works.
- Maintain accurate records of testing and inspection results.
Requirements:
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years experience in electrical maintenance.
- Familiar with UAE electrical codes and safety practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in low-voltage systems.
- Ability to read SLD and wiring diagrams.
- Basic experience with emergency lighting systems.
- Knowledge of safe isolation methods (LOTO).
- Must be organized, honest, and work well with others, and have an outgoing personality.
- Must speak in a clear, understandable voice and hear at a basic level, and understand English.
