Role Summary:
The Plumber ensures smooth water supply and drainage operations by handling installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance of all plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair leaks, faucets, mixers, flush mechanisms, traps, and fittings.
- Clear blockages in toilets, kitchen drains, floor drains, and main lines.
- Repair & install PPR, CPVC, copper, GI, and PVC pipelines.
- Maintain water pumps, pressure-control systems, and heaters.
- Conduct pressure testing and pipe flushing.
- Complete work orders using checklists, forms, or CAFM systems.
- Assist with water tank cleaning tasks.
- Identify potential plumbing hazards and recommend improvements.
- Provide first-response support for urgent breakdowns.
- Coordinate with supervisors for material requests and spare parts planning.
- Support shutdown activities, renovations, mobilization, and demobilization projects.
- Follow safe work practices including LOTO, PPE, and risk assessments.
- Comply with HSE and permit‑to‑work procedures
- Support emergency call‑outs
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of MEP maintenance experience in FM or building operations. (UAE preferred)
- Knowledge of multiple pipe types and joining techniques.
- Ability to read plumbing layouts and riser diagrams.
- Experience in drainage, water supply, and pump systems.
- Familiar with PPM schedules and CAFM systems.
- Basic civil repair knowledge (tiles/sealant).
- Physically fit and able to perform hands-on maintenance.
- Must be organized, honest, and work well with others, and have an outgoing personality.
- Multi‑skilled (Electrical + Plumbing essential)
- Must speak in a clear, understandable voice and hear at a basic level, and understand English.
